Of course this means that you have to understand not just what is busted regarding IT systems, but the human elements as well. So, below are the worst practices of modern IT management:

- You don't fix bad management and instead classify it as a problem with perception management
- When something isn't working, do more of it.
- When something works, but makes only a small difference, do more of it because that's bound to make a big difference.
