Is there a methodology for axing methdologies?
How do you garbage collect or eliminate outdated and cumbersome methodologies that are more detrimental than helpful to the software development process? Most methodologies used in IT are all about closing a thousand barn doors because of the escaped horses of yester-year? Of course, we don't want history to repeat itself but we also need to be forward thinking.
