How many programmers in India consider themselves below average?
Bet you didn't know that 95% of all parents consider their children above average...
Statistically speaking, IT is somewhat new in India where the vast majority of its participants have less than ten years of experience in IT. Likewise, they haven't been afforded the same learning opportunities as their American counterparts such as having the ability to travel to industry conferences, access to books and magazines, etc.
As India increases the amount of IT professionals, it would also mean that there would be more below average IT professionals residing there. The key question is what percentage of the IT population in India considers themselves below average?
