Java Content Repository (JSR-283)

The next major revision of the Java Content Repository (JSR-283) has entered public review status on the JCP web site. Most of the visible changes revolve around querying a repository for content, with the SQL and XPath query languages being deprecated.

Vendors such as Day Software, Alfresco, Documentum and Oracle are all players. It would be interesting to see which of these vendors will be first to support this standard and which will be dead last. Maybe we should start a pool to see if Billy Cripe will beat out Craig Randall...
