Should American IT folks be outraged by this video...
Have you seen this video? It is from a seminar on immigration law by the firm Cohen & Grigsby and it explains in great detail how to NOT hire an American, how to place an ad in such a way as to NOT hire an American for a job you need to fill…
Fast forward to the seven minute mark and listen to the following:
I suspect that once this video becomes amplified by every blogger in the blogosphere that this law firm will probably be boycotted, their infrastructure subject to a denial of service attack and the clients that use this firm to be publicly humiliated. I wonder what Apoorv Durga thinks? In the meantime, if you are reading this and are outraged, ask yourself what is your call to action...

- And our goal is clearly to find a qualified and interested . And you know in a sense that sounds funny, but it’s what we’re trying to do here. We are complying with the law fully, but ah, our objective is to get this person a green card, and get through the labor certification process. So certainly we are not going to try to find a place [at which to advertise the job] where the applicants are the most numerous. We’re going to try to find a place where we can comply with the law, and hoping, and likely, not to find qualified and interested worker applicants.”
