Open Source ETL
The notion of ETL within a data warehouse approach is pervasively used. If you call up your favorite industry analyst, you will probably find at least a dozen of tools in this space but they probably won't mention any that are open source.
JasperETL is an open source ETL tool that includes a graphical ETL process editor, a transformation editor that graphically maps data transformations and a debugger that provides real-time tracking of ETL statistics.
JasperETL is available for free from the JasperForge website. Hopefully, other industry analysts will start providing coverage and including this solution next to closed source solutions in their research reports...
