I have a favor to ask of Sun Employees

Sun has some of the smartest bloggers on the planet. The likes of Sameer Tyagi, Pat Patterson, Don Bowen, Robin Wilton, Aravind Ranganathan and Mark Dixon come to mind. You even had the wisdom of getting the right industry analyst firms such as RedMonk to provide coverage of all of the wonderful things you are working on. I would like to ask one favor of these folks and that would be to dedicate a future blog entry to Sun's SAR methodology.

Sun's SAR methodology is an approach to solving the age-old problem of secure coding practices and is in many ways better than Microsoft's approach yet the world doesn't even know about it.

Many industry analysts provide deep coverage on the latest patch scheme from Oracle, IBM and Microsoft but avoid talking about the root cause of most security problems being the lack of secure coding practices. Sun, you have something that is better than what the rest of the world hasn't even noodled yet and it deserves to be heard...
