Extending the Long Tail: A call to Action
Confused of Calcutta has picked up on one of my comments that A-List bloggers should link to lesser known bloggers. While I suggested this of others, I have been somewhat guilty of thinking about how I can also participate...
In order to clear any guilt, I would like to increase the number of folks on my blogroll. Of course, I can't add the entire blogosphere so some censorship is in order. If you meet any of the two criteria listed below, please trackback to this entry and I will add you over the long weekend:

If you meet any of the two criteria listed below, please trackback to this entry and I will add you over the long weekend:
- You are an employee of a Fortune 250 enterprise or its international equivalent whose primary business model isn't technology
- You are an industry analyst who is interested in not just covering open source but also actively figuring out how to change your own day job to incorporate it into your own business model
- You agree at bloggers have a fidicuary duty to not only talk about technology but also have an equal if not more important duty to make the world a better place and periodically amplify the need to be charitable
- You are a book author and have been published by reputable publishers such as Springer Verlag, Wiley, Addison Wesley, APress and others. Book authors that have been published by less-reputable publishers such as O'Reilly and Manning, I apologize in advance
- You work for a reputable Indian outsourcing firm who will openly discuss both successes and failures in terms of outsourcing
- You are employed by a large consulting firm (1000+ employees) and ascribe to the principles of the Agile Manifesto
- You are the CTO of an Internet startup whose products embrace any of the following standards/concepts: Federated Identity, XACML, Data De-Identification, SOA, BPM or ECM
- You have in the past positively amplified any of my previous blog postings
Of course, blogging etiquette suggests that blogrolls are reciprocal...
